in class i sit next to him and he talks to me.at lunch he ignores me.how can i get him to ask me out without changing my physical appearence?

Ignore HIM. Well, not really. Without being rude, just cut back on the amount of talking and the time you spend together. The key is, "Always leave him wanting more." You're a special girl and you deserve a special guy. If he's not smart enough to make his move, that's HIS problem, not yours.

Does he sit with his guy friends at lunch? If so it's not surprising he ignores you. Guys tend to do that when they're with their fellow boys. Don't think much of it, it may even be a sign he likes you. You should probably let him know you want to go to the next step with him, he'll probably be more inclined to talk to you. And I doubt it's your look he's worried about if he talks to you during class =] Just be yourself, he's a loser if he won't accept you any other way.

Even with changing your looks/physical appearance, there is no guarantee that he will like you like a girlfriend and/or ask you out. For me, personality is more important than looks. The former in a person normally does not change or change much if there is, while the latter will surely change with time.

My guess if he talks to you in class he likes you. He probably ingnores you in the lunch room because he's more around his friends and he might be embarrased.
When you get the chance to talk to him be your self. Smile, act like your having a good time around him. Be positive, let him know that your a fun person to be around.
Women normally choose the guy they wan't. They set the seeds inside the guys head and make him think that it's his idea to pursue the woman.

You can't. Forget about him, and find someone who will appreciate your attention, although the problem could be you feel like your father ignores you and this is why you're attracted to boys who ignore you also. You should ask yourself this to make sure you just aren't attracted to jerks.

Find ways to make him happier. If there's something he wants, help him get it. Bring him small gifts and treats. Focus on his happiness, not yours. It's partly a test of how much you really like him. If you bring him gifts and treats and he never brings you any, does that make you unhappy? When you're in love with someone, bringing them stuff and doing them favors makes you happy, with no expectation of any return favors.
You might treat him with kindness and generosity for years, and he might be a total jerk in return. But one of those years, he's likely to suddenly fall in love with you. Then it will be your turn to be treated like royalty.

if he only talks to you in class, and not at lunch, it's obvious he doesn't want to be seen talking to you in front of alot of people. if I was you, leave him alone. why socialize with someone when they only talk to you once a day? what a loser he is.
