No! I am 22 and I absolutely adore my co worker who is 42. He's awesome. Two years ago, I never would have dated someone 6 years older than me. Now, I have a a whole new perspective on dating someone way out of my age bracket. I really like this guy and he really likes me. We click together so easily and when we are together, we are happy.

It all depends how old you are. If you are over the age of 18 then it shouldn't matter how old the person you're interested in is. Just be careful because some older men take advantage of young girls and try to control them. Some of them might try to act like they are your father and won't give you the respect you deserve. If its like 5-10 years age difference then it shouldn't be too bad. But anything over 10 years difference....BE CAREFUL. I'm 23 and I wouldn't mind dating a guy that is in his 30's. The oldest I would go would probably be 40 but not too sure about that either. If you both feel the chemistry and have things in common...then go for it.

Wrong to whom? Legally, when you are a minor it's wrong to date someone who is so many years older than you... but once you pass all that lame legal bs. You're dating wants and needs are up to you, providing you're not porking a pig.
In 2006 I dated 2 men who were considerably older than me. I am 21 and one of the men that I dated was 37... he showed me a super good time. As well as a 35 year old man...
It may be frowned upon by others, but I truly thing the only thing that matters is whether or not that you are comfortable and happy with it. I found the experience to be life changing. Just remember that opportunities arise for a reason. Goodluck with your dating dilemmas.

How much older? And how old are you?
I think if a girl is in her 20s, and she goes with an 80 year old because he's rich, I'd consider that a little wrong. If you're 5 years or so younger than him and if you're a grownup, that's just fine.

I married an older woman. I see no reason why you can't date older men, but I personally don't generally like younger women -- I prefer women with a little more experience.

No.
The older guys are more mature. I have mostly dated older boys, then older men.
My husband is an older guy.
If you're under 18, however, it's not okay to date a man.

The issue here is not whether it is right or wrong, but whether it is practical. If you can put up with whatever cultural differences, "generational gap," health differences, differences in sexual levels or whatever, then there is nothing wrong with it. Relationships based on age or race are not found in any Scriptures as far as I know.

Guys tend to be a few years behind girls when it comes to maturity. (a few meaning 2-3) However, if hes like 15 years older than you and interested theres probably something wrong with him.
And If your underage and didnt attend high school with him, theres no doubt theres something wrong with him.

Your question is kinda vague. How much older do you mean. It would make a difference if your age was like 13 and his was like 19.
