How much is a US dollar worth in Korean money?

Well, as many ppl said you can get some idea of Korean won.

Here is more info.

With your American 1dollar in Korea, you can buy 1 small bottle of water and 1 gum. that is it.

If you want to have a snack food then you just need around 3~4American dollars, if you want decent food then you need at least American 10dollars. I mean a simple bowl of meal with side dishes.
Other Korean bigger meal need to have around 30 dollars more or less.

Like all currencies, the value changes daily. Also realize the banks or exchanges never give the customer the rate in the newspapers, there's always about a 2-5 cent extra fee.

yeah i read the other answers and have no idea what they were saying. im korean and i visited korea this summer. youd get one won for around 75 ish cents.
