I think it's totally contradictive. Are you hoping someone can make you believe? Provide proof? What?

I'm not saying you don't have the right to be here or any other site but why bother?

I think what you're asking is why waste your time if you're not a believer? I'm a Christian and I've been wondering the same question for a while now. I mean if you're atheist, that mean you believe that your time is limited to just this lifetime, you shouldn't be wasting your time here. It is contradictory. Atheists, this isn't a battle of wits it's a matter of faith. If you want a battle of wits go on a debate site instead of wasting your "precious" lives here.

nicely, a three.ninety 8 with a walnut sized techniques, congrats. it truly is merely too undesirable you probably did not take different technological information classes. Physics and Astronomy might have confirmed you that the universe is approximately 13.5 billion years previous. The Earth sciences might have confirmed you that existence began whilst single cellular organisms progressed, various billion years in the past, and existence is persevering with to evolve. Oh, definite, dinosaurs lived way till now than mankind. and you've gotten discovered approximately Plate Tectonics and the shortcoming of information for any international huge flood. And Biology might have taught you to comprehend merely how evolution occurs. And once you may are turning out to be to the Chemistry lab, you've gotten seen merely how complicated our international truly is. Too complicated for any man made god to comprehend or create.

Some people don't believe in evolution, yet they still go to the biology section. Fact is that believing or not believing in a particular doctrine doesn't mean anything at all. Atheists usually live in places were religion is influencing.

Please stop asking this question. It is asked at least twice a day.

As long as Christianity, as well as several of the other "ultimate truths", have as their end and gleefully sought after goal, the END OF THE WORLD, and as long as they believe that their rights are being violated if they are denied the opportunity to use the coercive power of the state to shove their god down every ones throat, you will have to put up with us being in your face. Why should we abandon a forum where we can let you know that you will not be allowed to carry out the silly "End Times" rubbish that you seem to forget would include the rest of us.

Why do Christians push their religious beliefs on others, either directly or indirectly ??? How about why the vast majority of Christians in the U.S. would never vote for an atheist president, completely ignoring freedom of religion ? Hmmmm ? A little prejudice. I vote for Christian presidents (even though I really don't have much of a choice), because religion matters not in politics. But Christians want others to belief in their beliefs. blah blah blah.

Don't take offense to ignorance . They say they have no proof god exsists I say there is proof in every day life . But you have to be open minded enough to see the beauty that only God could create. Furthermore when they die the proof they get may not be the proof they want . " For whosoever beliveth in me shall not perish ,but have ever lasting life". Heaven or HELL?????HHHHUUUMM!!!!

Many are hoping to find something that they have not seen in their lives. Some sort of acceptance I believe. I hope that they are reading the BIBLE to go with their questions and answers.

I am a Christian, so I guess I don't know why they come, but I am glad they do. I have gained a lot of insight into the reasons they don't believe in God. It has blessed me by giving me a desire to try to find a way to articulate why I have faith. I have a long way to go, but I am enjoying the dialogue.

You ask this question in a forum under the title, "Religion and Spirituality", and Atheism is indeed a religion, thus falling under that category. Just because one may not share your beliefs does not mean they should not be given the opportunity to express themselves or inquire as they so choose.

I go to religious sites to learn more about religion. Although I don't believe in it, I find it to be fascinating.

The same question can be asked about why Christians go to atheist/agnostic sites. I would guess it'd be to further their understanding of why we don't believe in a deity.
