I take pills for bipolar and also for panic. I am having an attack right now so I took them both. The Dr said it was ok. But I also took my birth control pill, and I want to take Motrin too since I believe the cause of my anxiety is the pain I am having....is it really a good idea to take 4 different pills for 4 different reasons?

I need answers ASAP

Ok, someone said I should add what I did take already, so I take depakote for bipolar and Xanax for the panic. I only took 2 Xanax, and my regular amount of dep. 250mg. I have a crooked spine and not wearing my head set at work makes me have these nasty pains, so I am having them now, but I can't help but get the thought of heart attack out of my head. I just want to take mortin for the pain to subside. I am not trying to abuse any drugs here. I haven't slept much in days! Ugh!

Taking these 4 meds are all perfectly fine Mags.
Your depakote and Xanex are in 2 different drug classes. Your birth control will not affect anything and Motrin is just ibuprofen and will not have any negative effects or interactions with your other medications.
Talk to your doctor soon about these panic attacks tho. If you're still exhibiting symptoms of this severity...something isn't working the way it should.
Hope you're feeling better soon.

I don't see the harm in taking all of those at one time. The only problem you might have is stomach irritation, possibly, if your stomach is empty. Hope you feel better soon!

I would call your local Pharmist for accurate information on the same. You do not want to mix pills that might cause your liver long term damage in the future. good luck

if your doctor perscribed them both you should be ok.it really depends on how you feel..the birth control and motrin shouldn't affect what you took.well i guess it depends on what pills you took for bipolar and anxiety you should have listed them
