Education is good. A college degree will show that your not stupid, you can be trained, and that you can start a long task and finish it. However when it is all said and done, it's not what you know, it's who you know. Most jobs are gotten based on knowing the right people. You would be surprised at the number of jobs that are never posted, because the position is already filled by somebody's nephew or your friend's cousin. Go to college and network network, network.

I was in college and one of the classes I took was a co-op class. They set me up a job and I got credit for the class and got paid as well! They liked me so much at the job they kept me on. I've been there for almost 10 years now.
Might work for others as well.

do you have a degree from a college...it's a good place to start but not always necessary........I have quite a few friends in health insurance sales for a major insurance company, they make 6 figures a year.
