and it doesn't work?

Also, does it make you angry when we pray for you?

Well, what I'm actually trying to get across here, is that some people are getting extra accounts to post questions that are meant to inflame. Case in point: Night before last, a woman(?) came on here and said she felt guilty about smoking crack in church. Then she asked: Should I give the pastor a puff, or just stop. This is an extreme example. But seriously, some of you do it.

I just think it's funny because the majority of the time it doesn't work. The only one it works with is David...lol.

Well, a number of posters here have admitted that they like making Christians angry, so they have made my question justified.

Stanton, I don't care what you request in prayer towards me from Satan; I'm under the protection of Almight God.

BTW, read the Book, Stanton...you know the only one that proves the existence of your Satan...in the end, God whips his fanny all over the place.

Good luck, Stanton.

Actually it kind of makes me sad when i see people get their kicks in trying to annoy perfect strangers.

The truly intellectual and creative are never bored enough to do such.

It doesn't, lol. I never try to make Christians angry here, although most of them assume I'm Atheist or some troll when I ask theological questions. Don't seem to understand that some people are really interested in learning, not just fighting.
And it doesn't make me angry when Christians pray for me at all, as long as they're not in my face about it or rude to me. I think it's very sweet that they try to help me, because that's what they believe they're doing whether I agree or not, and it's a wonderful thing. If my religion dictated that everyone follow it, I would do the same thing.
I just get ticked sometimes when I get the fanatic old lady who chases me down the street screaming that I am the devils work because I'm wearing all black at the time, or that I must be Satanist if I'm not Christian.

I often make them angry without trying. It's not my goal to anger people, but to educate them and inject a little reason into these conversations. It's truly amazing what can make a Christian angry. I could tell the truth about obvious facts and some of them would wish death on me... truly interesting indeed.

So i guess that would be a big NO, since i don't actively try to make Christians angry but end up doing so anyway.

I don't personally try to make the Christians angry, I just answer their questions with my opinion, which is the basis for most public forums like this. And as far as I'm concerned, you may pray for me all you like. It is your belief, and therefore, you are entitled to it. The only thing that makes me angry, is when those of us who do not believe in your religion are force fed it, or belittled by you guys. I was asked to read a passage of the bible by a Christian, that basically told me I would be denied at Heaven's gates. Luke 12:8-9 I believe it was. It's fine with me that you don't believe what I believe, but please, don't force feed me your bible verses. I've read the bible in it's entirety, which is more than most Christians can say, and I know that according to it, I'm headed straight for "Hell". I've made my decision nonethelss, and don't really require your opinion on that. But, thanks for asking anyway.

I'm not Atheist or Agnostic, but I'll answer anyway. It doesn't make me frustrated. I give my truthful opinion, and I like any reactions I get. I just happen like the angry Christian reactions more ^.^

It does not make me angry knowing people are praying for me. Whether or not the prayer has any effect at all, It means they care.

Of course not. You have every right to believe what you believe, just as the others have every right to say what they wish so long as they do not directly harm anyone.
Pray as you wish, speak as you wish, but don't expect people to change to accomodate you.
(PS you should try looking from another perspective some time. Amazing things can happen. Dare I say, miracles?)

Though, I do find it vaguely ironic that it seems to be those who associate themselves with a religion who are complaining about the beliefs of others.

I believe all ways are one. Good done in any name is still good, and wrong done in any name is still wrong. Appeal to morality, not religion. There is a difference.

By the way, I'm druidic. If you don't know what that is, you can honestly blame the christians.
XD It's historically accurate.
No offense meant to anyone, honestly.

I don't try to make Christians angry. I answer questions with my personal beliefs, and every once in a while I may crack a joke to lighten up the mood.

"Also, does it make you angry when we pray for you?"
Yes. If a Christian finds out that I am atheist, or if I question their beliefs, and then they reply with "I'll pray for you" I find it to be, in a sense, almost rude.

I happen to be of mormon faith. In an attempt to answer your question, I believe that there are very few if any that are truly athiest out there. I believe that even an atheist believes that there is something higher than any of us exists. Even if they claim that there is no god or whatever.

As for why some agnostics and athiests might get offended about praying for them...that is simply thier right to believe in God or not to believe in God.

And we should respect that even if we disagree with them.

You're most welcome to pray for me all your like, thats your choice.

All I ask is that you respect my choice to not beleive and accept the same thing you do.

PS christians get angry on these forums all the time, I have seen some REALLY ugly language from beleivers in the last few days.

It isn't frustrating at all they are all such idiots it is so easy to make them angry. I love it when Christians pray for me. I will even pray for you if you like. Of course we know you have already dug yourself so deep into that pit of fantasy that it is no use talking truth, logic and reason to you, so we no longer try. But the youth of your generation is still susceptible to truth so we will get as many of them as passable before you pull them down to your level of ignorance with you.
God Bless Love and Kisses Betty

Why would I go out of my way to make people angry? They'd just report me. I try to walk the line between thought provoking and just plain stupid.

Yes, that's a line. I think.
