nowhere in the bible do i read that self consciousness survives the grave. it only says that the dead sleep in the dust.
if so how can a dead person haunt me?

Dead people do not haunt you, I have seen a few apparitions very
real, they are not dead people, disembodies spirits.Maybe another life form,I was very afraid first time I saw one,They do no harm they are there then they are gone.What about ghost ships,Queen Mary etc. Do you think the ship was alive,and now it is dead.ghosts are not to be feared.If these cause any harm,they
are demons.Yes, the Bible says the dead know nothing.

Yes I do believe in ghost and they are with you they are misunderstood souls that have not actually finished their time on Earth and they are still here because we need to let them go sooner or later.If we don't they won't be happy say the soul you would hold on to was a Mafia he might just come and kill you in your sleep I'm 10 so I'm guessing.I've actually thought about this myself so i did some research.

No. It is not the dead hunting you. Its power of your imagination. The things that hunt you are bad spirits. Your declaration is right.

I've seen what people call ghosts on several occassions. However "what" a ghost is remains a mystery.
