It really depends. I love my dogs as if they are my children. If something was wrong with my dog and that is why someone wanted to kill it, then I would probably kill it. If someone broke in and gave me a gun and told me to kill the dog or kill myself, I'd probably kill them (since I have the gun) :)

Kill the person trying to kill my dog!
I'd probably die to save my dog in the heat of the moment. I remember when we were on the farm I was terrified that my dog would be bitten by a snake. We were out walking one day and I saw my dog go near something with that curious expression dogs get...and then I saw scales. I totally freaked and ran towards her...only to stop when the 'snake' opened its mouth and showed off its blue tongue. Thank god it was a bob tail. (A lizard with a stumpy tail and a blue tongue, they are harmless and kind of cute. They ward off predators by opening their mouth.)

Id kill myself im a huge animal lover so i couldnt live everyday knowing i had to kill a poor innocient dog :( thats a very sad question btw

Please do not ask stupid terrible questions!!!
But just for the hell of it, I would jump in front of a bullet to save my dogs lives.
If someone tried to harm or kill my Golden Retriever, it would be considered a federal crime under the ADA Department of Justice, due to the fact that she is a certified service dog.
Jail time and HUGE fines would face that person.

I love my dogs but I love living more so if it were a choice between my dog or me I would pick me. Anyone saying they would pick the dog are liars!!!
