I grew up in California in the 70s. We had three kinds of Doritos - Toasted Corn (Yellow bag); Taco (orange bag) and Nacho Cheese (red bag). Taco was always my personal favorite. You are not dreaming - you are reminiscing.

No, you're not dreaming. Doritos originally introduced "Taco Bell" flavor but now it's just "Taco". Lol.

My husband has worked for Frito Lay, the makers of Doritos for 5+ years and says that he has not seen taco flavored Doritos. I also looked in a product book that he has and did not see them listed.
They do offer different products in different regions though.

You're not dreaming. "Taco" was a flavor, but I don't think they sell it anymore.

Back in the 70's, I remember it.
Doritos had those cool Cheesy Rider commercials too.

I can't remember but I would advise AGAINST trying the sweet chili heat. I thought it would be really good because I love Doritos and thai food......I was wrong...it was gross.

No, you are not dreaming. I have had them before, but that was a long time ago. Have not seen them in the store.
