When I installed AVG in my pc there is a resident shield but when i remove and re installed it the resident shield is gone

I think u have to update the AVG anti spyware or re install it

Make sure you have all the updates. If you have a gray icon down by the clock, right-click it and choose 'check for updates' and download all available updates.

I've used many anti-virus programs, including AVG, and BITDEFENDER is much better. Easier to use and it works.
