I found out that I have fibromyalgia about 6 yrs. ago. It is a constant battle. I was taking OxyContin, Methodone and also was on Morphine for about 5 yrs. Recently, I have stopped taking them because I was still in a lot of pain. I have found that massage therapy works the best for me. It will almost make you sick the 1st few times but after that there is nothing that helps me more. Also listening to relaxing music helps alot. Sometimes, you just feel like you are going to lose it. But keep going. You will find what works for you the best.

God bless and goodluck.

I'm sorry for you.
Fibromyalgia (FM or FMS) is a chronic syndrome (constellation of signs and symptoms) characterized by diffuse or specific muscle, joint, or bone pain, fatigue, and a wide range of other symptoms. It is not contagious, and recent studies suggest that people with fibromyalgia may be genetically predisposed

TREATMENT(none yet)
As with many other soft tissue and rheumatolgical organic disorders, there is no cure for fibromyalgia. However, there is increasing interest and research which has led to improvements in treatment. Treatment ranges from symptomatic prescription medication to alternative and complementary medicine.

Wish you all the best
