It means that every time the person looks at someone s/he is potentially falling in love at first sight and betraying his/her current love.

hm i like this quote. sounds as if this a quote of warning against frivolous.

similar to the quote "those who live by the sword die by the sword", this means that the person will be the source of their own undoing by being frivolous. that person is basically not dependable because they have to mature and learn to commit to their interests.
