All the blenders I have bought either get caught on the ice or just spin them around, even with the ice breaker button. I'm looking to invest in a nice blender to get the job done. I've had people mention bar blenders to me but I have no idea where to start and what to look for. If someone could recommend a reasonable and durable blender to me it would be much appreciated!

Go to www.willitblend.com
Those blenders, the HOUSEHOLD blenders come in 3 & 5 horsepower, for a blender, that's insane. These things can chop gravel, marbles, rake handles, etc. I'm not suggesting you do, but for ice...Piece of cake.
