Whether vegetables you buy in a supermarket are fresh or frozen, if you want to eat them hot you have to cook them. However you never need to cook vegetables as they can be eaten raw. Carrots in particular have a better flavour when raw and crunchy.

They are raw, but the have a semi-soft "cooked" texture when defrosted because the ice crystals created by freezing puncture the cell walls of the vegetables. Therefore, unless you like your fresh veggies on the crunchy side, you will want to cook them. Frozen vegetables will cook faster than fresh ones because of the ice damage they experienced in the freezing process.

Frozen vegetables ar frozen vegetables. They are not cooked. If they were cooked it would say so on the package. If U want cooked veggies then U have to cook them but if U don't mind eating raw veggies that's okay.. I do that alot sometimes I eat a small bag of thawed out frozen veggies watching T.V.

They aren't cooked. You could probably eat them raw like you would a fresh vegetable, but it wouldn't taste too good. They would taste better warmed up.

Mircowaving the veggies is usually good enough to cook them. They just seem pre-cooked because they get soggy when they defrost.

they are blanched(cooked for about 2 or 3 minutes) when they are in the bag. i like the fresh stuff best though, because i just don't think having to though out my veggies should be part of preparing meals. it just doesn't seem right.
