My friend like to eat dirt, crayons, baking soda etc.-What does this mean?

the words edible... lol.
um, idk... you could probably try seeing a doctor or a psychologist. they could really help you. or maybe it's just an urge to eat when you're REALLY hungry and no food is available.

Your friend has a disorder called "pica". It is where people like to eat unedible things such as dirt and cigarettes. It is most common in pregnant women.

He's not absorbing essential minerals. What does he eat every day besides what you have listed? If it's fast food all the time, then there is your answer. He's deficient and he's instinctively trying to find what is "missing."

Could be Pica. It's the desire to eat non-edible things. Pregnant women are the biggest demographic to get it, but it's not that common. Otherwise, it could mean he likes the attention.

a condition called pecca where they have a craving for things that aren't edible, its most commen in pregnant women. somethings would include clay, dirt, crayons.

there's a condition called pica (sp) that deals with that, it really affects pregnant women as well.
Requires medical attention.

I can't seem to remember what it's called, but it needs medical attention as soon as possible. It's a brain problem that causes inedible cravings. Seriously, get her help!
