People who can't think for themselves. They have tunnelvision in the sense that they only see what it directly in front of them and can't see all the other things around them. They pretty much believe whatever they've been told from birth, there are fundamentalists in pretty much every religion. They take small things in religion and turn them into the biggest and most important part of their religion. For example, the Mormon church hasn't been ok with polygamy for about a century, but the fundamentalist Mormon church tells its followers that they can't get into heaven if they're not polygamist.
Really the main thing that distinguishes fundamentalists is irrationallity and a burning passion to crusade for something when they have no idea how the world really works.

What are fundamentalists? Fundamentalist = Extremist
And what do they believe? Depends on what religion they follow. They don't represent the religion because they twist the teachings to suit their own deluded reality.

Christian fundamentalists? That just means that you accept the fundamental tenants of Christianity,such as the inerrancy of the Bible, the virgin birth of Christ, the bodily resurrection of Jesus, and the imminent return of Jesus Christ.
However,it's come to mean (however erroneously)'intolerant' and 'homophobic' .
Many people use the term 'fundie' to refer to Christian fundamentalists.

But the hardcore is best described as Dominionist or Christian Reconstructionist.

They believe the bible is the infalliable, 100% correct Word of God, the only true God, that people who do not follow God go to hell, and that every frikking inch of the bible is 100% literal.

People Hu consider their religion superior and the best and are against other religions. THey have selfish interests and sepeprate identity. THey are disillusioned.
