I'm a teenager and I know it's embarassing, but I haven't learned to swallow pills yet. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to make the process easier?

Practice with Tictacs, gradually moving up to larger pill-size mints or candies.

When they are in your mouth, don't think about them. Then, take a big gulp of water and let the pills go down the hatch with it. The more water you swallow at once, the less you'll even notice the pills. Trust me. I had a problem swallowing pills when I was younger. I was always afraid I was going to choke on them, but after I had to take a dozen antibiotics in a row just to go to the dentist, I learned how to swallow 5 at a time. It's not even something I have to think about anymore. It just comes naturally after a while.

Try to swallow M&Ms. Or if you want something smaller, try to swallow baby aspirin, but only if you need to take aspirin. My sister has this problem and she still never learned to swallow pills (she's 31). Everything she needs comes in a liquid or chewable form, so if you never learn to swallow pills, it's not that big of a deal.
