Even though warm milk sounds disgusting, it helps soothe the body in the evening before bed. Try stretching, the chemicals released after stretching large muscles are natural sedaditives. So, take about five minutes to perform a relaxing stretch. For in the mornings, if you don't already, take your shower after you wake up... not before you go to bed. It's been proven to "wake" the human body up.

One thing i learned about getting up in the morning is that i dont want to...HAHA....A good way to get up in the morning is to just do it. When you hear the alarm go off...you obviously hear it or you wouldnt push the snooze button....then stay up....dont lay back down...big mistake. Take a nap when you get home from work...even a small hour nap will rejuvenate you. I work 6 nights a week from 6pm to 3am. I also have to get up at 7 with 3 kids.....so its pretty hard to get up in the mornings. I hope this helps you some....also try setting your alarm clock 30 minutes early so even if you do go back to sleep you have 30 minutes of time to work with. And set it to play music in the morning...tune it to your favorite music so when you wake it will be to something you like ....not that annoying buzzer....also set your alarm clock away from you....so that in order to turn it off you have to get up outta bed....Good luck i would hate to see you lose your job...that wouldnt be good.

Say in your mind that you need to get up at a certain time. Set your alarm 15 mins ahead of the time to get up. You got 15 mins to rest before getting out of bed. This works. I do it all the time. I am a late night person and an early riser. I am only late if I stay in bed beyond the 15 mins. Your mind will wake your body up in time in the am. Train yourself to do so.

answer #1 is really good, but put the clock away from your bed so you actually have to get out of bed to turn off the alarms. Works for me. Plus my cat wakes me in the moring to fed him and he will NOT let up until I get out of bed.

Get 2 or 3 alarm clocks. Put them all in different areas of your room and far from your bed. You'll be forced to get on your feet and get up.

here's what i do. get an alarm clock radio, set it so that the radio goes off REALLY LOUD at whatever time you want to get up. then, before you go to bed, put it somewhere hard to reach so that by the time you've dug it out from behind your closet or wherever, your'e awake....or....just get more sleep
