"Hands of light" by Barbara Brennan - that's chakras and energy healing.

"Ki in Daily Life" don't know who by - it's written for aikido practitioners about all the inner aspects of energy and centring, and how to use them...

We go through the entire Bible. In our adult class, it takes about four years. We've done topical studies, of course, but we've found we like going through a chapter at a time better because it gives everyone a better understanding of the context of scriptures. I'm a little wary of some topical studies or topical lessons where a person just looks up all the scriptures using a particular word. Sometimes the person speaking is in the wrong. Like, to say that Saul didn't wait on the priest to offer the sacrifice is not in any way suggestive that we should take matters into our own hands (actually sat through an entire sermon defending that position when I visited another congregation). If you read through the rest of the context, it was that event that caused Saul to ultimately lose the kingdom. Doesn't sound like an example I'd like to follow..... ;o) In our personal studies, we're encouraged to read through the gospels every quarter, and the psalms and proverbs. All scripture is profitable, of course, but those basics have most bearing on practical living, I think. I am non-denominational - church of Christ (not LDS, or universal).

Well, for one it helps to know that "ki" has many different names. A lot of Shaman books I've read deal with using and controlling the vital energy, as well as Reiki systems. Two books I can mention specifically is "Where Eagles Fly" by Kenneth Meadows and a book called "Ninja Mind Control" which is only about controlling your own mind and comes with detailed info on the ki flow system. I don't know much about Acupuncture, but a few books on that might also give you more details.
