I am a girl who is not too sure about guys. I don't blame all guys, but I do blame the ones that hurt me. One of them was my falut. When I was 12, a week before my 13 birthday. I was sexually assaulted by my great uncle (grandma's brother). He was 64. I told my parents, I have accidentally seen him around, but I have not spoken too him since. I went out with a guy for a couple months, then got his ex girl friend too call me and tell me he never wanted to talk too me again. Me and her talked a little later and did a two way on him (mean I know) and we found out how much he had been lying and stuff. That was my fault, though. Not gonna tell why. The next boy hurt me the worse, though. Well, not as bad as my great uncle, but still really bad. The next boy, I was 14 (still am), and he was 16. We went out for ten months. We broke up in Sept. I had to go away for counsilling some where else. IHe turned 17 in October. I just found out he is going out with my sister. My younger sister.

She is 13. I was talking too my sister, and they have been going out since about 2 weeks after I left. I just want to ask, do guys get as hurt as girls, or are they emotionless like they would like every one to believe. I don't want your pity, either, this is not a sob story. Thanks for your time!

Well, see guys probably seem very confusing to you. Most guys that are straight and are not bi-polar will probably will build up this shield, that when something happens inside they have to, and will, look like what that shield is, emotionless. If you are truly in love with him you can usually see past that shield and see what his true feelings are about you. Also like people say, first impressions are everything. In this case it means that you have had such a bad love life that you are almost scared to have a relationship and that happens to many people. With you'e situation i would have to say either time is the best medicine, or enlist in some therapy.

7 times out of 10, it's the woman doing the dumping. It always sucks way more to be the dumpee in a serious relationship.

So guys get their hearts broken more often. They just get better at hiding it after a while.

I have had my heart broken... my mom died when I was five. She was murdered in shooting when I was still living in Brasil... I liked a girl in 8th grade but when I asked her out she said she would want to go out with a foreign guy. I am from Brasil. I felt discriminated. recently my best friend took advantage of a close friend who had ran from her home because of her mom, and he knew she was vulnerable. She was used by him to get what he wanted... I didn't he had his own agenda.

Guys always hold emotions in until they snap. Girls let it out but hold a little in and linger on it. this is also why when men commit suicide everyone is shocked because they seemed so happy...

I'm so sorry your elderly great uncle molested you! That was horrible of him - relative or not a pervert like him should rot in jail for life!!!

In answer to your other question, yes guys get our hearts broken too - that's not something that only happens to women. But we don't like to talk about it, because it's "unmanly" and "gay" for men to admit we have feelings that can get hurt.
