I was on a deployment in the Bahamas, a few years ago (Marine Corps) and was part of an experiment that dealt with the pro/cons of double-oxygenated water. We wore monitoring devices that resembled a wrist watch and drank this "special" water and were asked a series of questions throughout this timeframe. My question is this: I haven't found anyone else that was part of the research and have found nothing on this as well and am wondering if anyone knows (or was part of) what this was for? This was while we were with 8th Engineers out of Lejeune. Thanks.

Double oxygenated water is what they called it. It didn't taste any different but when down a little thicker...does that make sense?

It wasn't peroxide, it was just the name that I remember. I'm not trying to say that I was a test monkey, I'm just trying to see if anyone knows more about it. The doctors that performed this experiment were civilians that brought all of their own equipment and "waiver" forms. I'm not suffering any negative side effects (that I know of) but would like some closure. Thanks again.
