Yes, she'll still probably take them. The key is to keep giving them to her in a VARIETY of flavors, not just the ones she likes. It will save you much trauma in the coming years..... Good luck!

There is no research that proves babies that are given fruits before vegetables will refuse vegetables later on. It's an old wives' tale. I gave all of my kids bananas as their first foods. And they are the most broccoli-lovingest kids I've ever met, lol.

But something I should mention is that the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends waiting until a baby is at least 6 months old before giving solid foods.

My first son ate fruit before veggies and he loves both. Try something like sweet potatoes to get her started on veggies and then go to the more bland ones. If worst comes to worst dip the veggies in her favorite fruit to hide the taste of the veggies. That way she's still eating her veggies and she's not giving you a problem with them.

there isn't any device. Feed your newborn despite, it extremely does not remember. that's a fantasy that in case you furnish one color earlier yet another, or fruit earlier greens, that it will make a distinction, it does not. From the hyperlink under: "Ditch the rice cereal and mashed peas, and make way for enchiladas, curry or maybe — gasp! — warm peppers. it's time to discard each thing you think of you understand approximately feeding toddlers. It seems maximum advice mom and dad get approximately weaning toddlers onto stable meals — even from pediatricians — is extra fantasy than technology. it is acceptable, rice cereal won't be the final first nutrients. Peanut butter does not might desire to attend till after the 1st birthday. offering culmination earlier vegetables won't breed a candy tooth. and powerful spices? deliver 'em on. "there's a collection of mythology available approximately this," says Dr. David Bergman, a Stanford college pediatrics professor. "there is not lots info to assist any specific way of doing issues."

It used to be a myth that if you gave a baby friuts first they would get used to the sugary sweet taste and not eat veggies, but it has been found not to be true. I started mine with fruits and he tends to prefer the veggies more than the fruit. So i'm pretty sure you haven't done her any harm in trying fruits first.

I started both my kids on fruits. They are school age now and wonderful eaters. When their repertoire expanded, I started a routine of fruit for b'fast, veggies for dinner (either one for lunch.) We still eat that way. Whichever you start with, introduce new foods mixed w/ a little rice cereal. The familiar flavor and texture of the cereal helps get them used to the new food.

Babies at this age are just in love with the new flavors. Try it, I'm sure she'll love carrots (sweet by nature) and sweet potatoes for sure, which are the most nutritious veggies of the bunch!

Have you ever tasted breastmilk? It's pure sugar, way sweeter than fruit. Your baby already has a sweet tooth. There is absolutely not truth to the "Introduce veggies first rule". My son started fruit and veggies at the same time and he prefers some strange things pineapple, garlic, onions, broccoli, steak, strawberries.

Also you do not have to puree your babies food. It is called "baby-led introduction to solids" it is both scientifically proven and what most humans have done through most of history. Just feed your baby what you eat (excluding honey, nuts, and potential allergens as determined by you). Limit salt and eat lots of fruits and veggies. It's good for your baby, and good for you too. And FYI babies are more likely to choke if you spoon feed them than if you let them feed themselves. Before they are ready to swallow they are not able to use their tongue to move food back into their mouths. Mother nature is very smart that way.

If she has only had it a couple of times I dont think it will due any damage but I would go a good 3 weeks on strictly cereal and veggies.

My mother said to feed vegis first because they won't eat them after fruits because fruits are sweet so they will want the sweets more.
