There's this really cute guy at my school that I like. He's really nice and funny but he's a senior and I'm a sophomore. We talk a lot and send each other text messages and we flirt, but I don't know if he likes me. Today he kept bringing up the idea of coming over to my house, and he seemed pretty serious. He seems like a player, but he tells me he's not. I don't really know what to do. I'm not going to ask him out so don't even say that.

Rule #1: Communicate with him. Tell him you like him. You don't have to ask him out. Let him do that.

p.s. He likes you :)

I had an experience just like this recently. I'm a sophomore- he's a senior. and he did seem like a player, really hot, nice funny. everything fits. but here's what happened to me. I got played. He made an excuse one weekend that he was confused about what was going on with us because he heard rumors, so he hooked up with one of my friends. He talked his way out of it (just like this guy says he's not a player). So i took him back, but we ended up breaking up anyway and he got with another girl 2 weeks after he said he loved me...guys are dumb. I'm not saying that this applies to your guy, but usually if someone seems like a player- there is reason for suspicion. just beware- behind the facade of good looks, sweet personality, and telling you everything you want to hear, there could be a player waiting for another girl to play. just be careful, and age difference does matter no mater what you hear. good luck ...sorry if i depressed you... you should just ask around about him, to mutual friends, or people who have known him longer than you--if he has a good reputation with girls, or if he's a player. If he's a player- you'll know. Don't give him the benefit of the doubt. but if all is clear, flirt, and try your hardest.

Hey, if he was willing to exchange numbers in the first place, that has got to count for something, right? If he brings up the idea of hanging out again, just take him up on it. What's the worst that could happen? Have fun!

Most of the time it's hard for a guy to ask a girl out or to be his girl friend, you just have to give hints that you would like to be in a relationship, and if he catches on maybe he'll have the confidence to ask you if that what he what to.

He probably is trying to play you. I think if he really liked you he would wait to even suggest going to your house. He probably thinks he can take advantage of you because you're younger.

However, you should try to find out what is really going through his head before you make a decision. Who knows, maybe he really does like you.

He seems like a player? He probably is. Back away. You don't need this.

Don't *think or assume....* for that's the worst among all.

Go talk to him about it and go with the flow from your own feeling.
