Matthew 26:14-16 is where Judas approached the chief priests and made a deal with them to betray Jesus. Verse 25 shows that he certainly knew who it was he was betraying. Verses 47 and 48 is where the actual betrayal took place. Read the entire 26th chapter however and things should be clearer to you.

Mat 26:16 And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.
Luk 22:48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
Don't know about the "NOT" believing part.
Even the demons, Jesus' enemies, acknowledged he was the Son of God. Judas betrayed him for other reasons. Not that he didn't realize he was the Christ.

70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
71 He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.
It's important to note that Judas was of the belief that the Messiah was to come for the day of vengence, which is in the Book of Isaiah 61:2.
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, . . . (which Jesus did) . . .
and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
( which He did not come to do, as illustrated in Luke 4: 16 - 21, until later )
So Judas was caught up in the typical radical Jewish belief that the Messiah was to conquer, rule, and reign Israel.
WHATEVER Jesus told Him about dying wasn't believed by him. Indeed, all the disciples were confused when Jesus spoke of these things. But Judas took money to betray jesus, and led the Sanhedrin right to Him, betraying Him with a kiss.
So by ipso facto, Judas was misguided, apparently by the devil or a devil, to do what would eventually lead Jesus to His death. Jesus knew it was coming. It was a good reason for Jesus to keep him around, and Jesus tolerated Judas who was taking money out of the money bag for his own purpose. Judas was being devilish. I am considering that Judas thought that he would see Jesus conquer any who came to destroy Him, but that's the nature of the devil, always denying the truth, and trying to make God out to be a liar. Judas did not believe that Jesus would die on a cross, even though Jesus told him and the others that
He would.
I hope that helped you to understand.

It does sound in many circumstances going on. i'd would desire to assert that the message is that when having intercourse with a whore you may by skill of the guidelines save her as a spouse. particular steps would desire to be taken, of direction. yet whilst masturbating, you lust after some thing that's no longer there and can't attone for this with out allot extra problem. no longer that the two of those issues are actual cautioned in the scripture, yet that on one hand you have alternatives and sacrifices to be made, on the different you purely pay the womans father the bride fee, and take her as a concubine.
