Go to a good hair stylist and take the pic.If the cut isn't right it won't look like that. The cut is longer in front and swept forward and sort of long and messy in the back and sides. The cut is the biggest thing for this style. Ask girls you know who does the best cuts around, the ones you see that have styles that are updated and you like. When you get the stylist don't be afraid to ask them to tell you what products they are using and explain how they are achieving the style so you can do it at home. Of course, I never look the same as I do when they do it but, you can get close. Looks good! I like it.

That haircut is all about blending. I could try to explain how to do it but I'm afraid I'd just confuse you with all my cosmetology school jargon. Basically the hair is cut so that all the strands on the head are uniform and the same length all around the head. And most of the end result is achieved with product usage. I can tell its a Redken ad. Good ****.

your hair needs to be cut in that particular style first, and then using a product like gel and/or wax will achieve the desired look by texturizing the hair into the directs wanted.

Use pomade, preferably a thickening one for men. My boyfriend does his hair like this, he takes the pomade and runs his fingers through his hair until the ends stand up. The best product to use is Crew pomade but the one with the thickening formula.

PUT MOUSSE OR STYLING GEL THROUGHT OUT YOUR HAIR. USE A WIDE TOOTHED COMB AND COMB IT IN AN UPWARD MOTION. THEN USE YOUR THUMB AND INDEX FINGERS TO SPIKE IT A LITTLE.
