All kidding aside, I've found that more than once, the software I'm trying to install will detect the existing software and recommend that you only run one at a time. I'm guessing that's a pretty good indication that it's a bad idea. Plus, like others have said, it can really slow down your machine.

Just get a good software package and use that. Running two will likely only slow you down and might cause your PC to hiccup.

No. Running 2 real time scanners on your system will first off cause everything to slow down and use system resources. Second two real time scanner can in fact cause problems with stabilty of your system and in conflict when trying to scan the same service, process or file at the same time.

I just use spybot and once in a while I use adware the latest version to clean up any thing that spybot missed. also I cash out on my Internet at least once a day. But I never use 2 at the same time

It is a good idea, but consecutively and not simultaneously.
The two are ad-aware and spybot-search and destroy. The two will find almost everything bad in the way of spyware on your pc.

2 different brands would work, but not the same brand. I use webroot spyware and it gets the job done just fine.

It doesn't hurt anything, but it's more beneficial to do one right after the other.. that way they aren't slowing down trying to delete thingsthey saw that the other one just got.
One finds what it can, and then the other gets what's left.

its OK ! but it will run slowly if u run it at the same time... u better use only one because they only have the same features or use.. to detect viruses and check al; the files
