Good Luck. If you are not happy than move on. Weigh out the pros's and con's.

It's a trade-off, innit. You can trade money for more interest. Most people go for the money then rely on their spare time hobbies/interests. Perhaps the way you run your life means all you seem to do is work. In reality, you probably only work about 50 hours a week max., but when you add in commuting (transport), shopping, chores, visiting elderly relatives, there's no time left for YOU and your interests. So, I'd say, try and keep the high-paying job but make more time to stimulate yourself.

Move closer to work.
Stop hanging out with those guys you don't like in bars you hate.
Y'know!

Having a job that is interesting is great, but like a new car, it is a luxury. You really have to ask yourself if you can afford to live off of the income you would receive. If your current debts are larger then your new income, can you make cuts in your spending to balance your checkbook? Being frustrated with your current job does not help in your quality of life, but having to face financial struggles could add new frustrations to you. It is true that you spend half of your life working and therefore you should enjoy it, but do not sacrifice your enjoyment of the other half of your life when you are Not working.
Best of Luck.

You should never do a job that you do not like. You want to libe in ahppiness. Like some other people are saying to you. Do whatever makes you happy the most. If you want to work at McDonalds then work there if you want to be a Doctor go to a hospital and have a interview. If you want to be a cartoonist then start going to art classes. Once again, do whatever make you happy the most. You will not regret it. ((Even know if it doesnt pay enough money its your dream!!!)))

Money isn't everything -- you deserve to enjoy what you spend your life doing -- feeling like you are serving some purpose is what is missing from a lot of lives.
Don't forget... You make a living from what you earn but you make a life from what you give.

All jobs become boring after a while. Rmember the old saying (I made it up years ago) "if it wasn't for money, I wouldn't be here."

You work more than half your waking life, make it something you enjoy! No amount of money is worth frittering your life away on something tedious or unfulfilling. Good luck!

It depends on if you think it is worth it to sell your time for money.
