There's this guy, who has liked me for a while. I'm finally giving a chance to get to know him a little better. I'm scared to call him, but i texted him a few times last night and just when i was about to sleep, he called me and we just talked for a little bit because i was so tired. I told him i would talk to him the next day and today is the next day. I texted him to see what he was doing and all that good stuff...all of a sudden, he hasn't responded back. It seems to me he doesn't want to talk to me or get to know me at all. should i just give up? or try to call him and take the Initiative? i don't know...i'm feeling under the weather just thinking about it.

Guys are weird! lol He might be playing hard to get or he might be hurt that you didn't yap on the phone with him for hours. Give him a call, if you feel like he's no longer interested or makes up a lame excuse to get off the phone, end the conversation and don't call him back. If he lost interest because you were tired and ended a phone call with him, don't worry about it. He's obviously overly sensitive and probably more trouble than he's worth.

I would call him because obviously he wants to talk to you or he wouldn't have called you last night he just might not have had time to answer your text yet

Just give it some time. Guy could be busy or something. Be patient and keep trying.
