i have a normal dvd burning software called roxio MyDvD Le(it came with the Pc). It's sux! i can only burn dvd movies that are mpg and mpeg1. plus i can't customize my menu or make buttons for scene selection and other stuff. i need a decent burning software with at least some of the features my old one doesnt have and maybe a lot more. i need it free. thanks

Free? I don't know of any free video editing software which meets your needs. There are free 1 month trials for both Nero 7 Burning ROM (http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/)
and

actually none of the free dvd writing software exists
all existing ones really sucks
for good s/w with cool features u will have to pay!!
