There was when I lived in New York. My friend was an instructor. We are both Christians. It was a lovely place not far from the sight of Woodstock.

We have a beautiful Hindu temple and a Mosque, a Synagogue, and many churches, including one for the Native American. We do have Buddhist, but no temple. I think that they met in one of the other churches, like rent a room or something. We have all religions here because we are a college town.

Ignore the above--Buddhism is a religion, there's plenty of worship to it, and we do it at the temple where I practice. We have at least one major buddhist temple/monastery/center, a zen center, and probably a halfdozen other groups that are anything from living room to college campus meetings.

I don't think there is many buddhist temples out there because buddhisms usually a more of a pholosphy than religion so there is very little worship in it.

Many, I'm a buddhist but I attend a culture center as the head priest excommunicated all the members around the second world war. Now we practice without priests.

No, but I wish there were. I'd really like to learn more about Buddhism from an actual practitioner rather than just the web.
