I give something to all the people who ask me for spare change unless I don't have money which is often as my finances are not the best now. Too much debt. But if I have a few bucks I give. The other day there were these people at the red light who got my bills on the way and on the way back all my silver change. It was the best day for me as I was wanting in my heart to help the poor in my community and they were collecting for the homeless shelter. I was so relieved to be able to do anything for the less fortunate. I really think that giving that that day was better than getting a million dollars. Although if I had a million dollars I could give more and more of my time too as would not have to work. Then I could cook for the homeless or something and I am a pretty good cook.

Are you suggesting the verse that says something like "what you have done to the least of your fellow man, you have done for Me??" (In Matthew somewhere. . .??) I would give it to Jesus obviusly. I think if I were in a postion like that I would do somtheing better than give a person money, cuz money is only a temp solution. .

I live in Texas. There are lots of guys named Jesus here that sometimes ask for your change. Is this what you mean?
