Definitely not raw. Raw taste is terrible. Eat it baked or toasted then add bit of salt and herb ( to your own liking). I was told Pumpkin seed help to avoid Prostat cancer in men, dont know about women. But have yet to see a scientific proof. Nowaday they are made into supermarket food item. Used to be throwaway and nobody want them.

It won't hurt you or anything but the flavor will not be there. Your stomach will have a hard time with digestion of it and will probably give you stomach cramps if you each enough of them. The proper way of eating them is roasted with salt. If you do it yourself, place seeds (cleaned from pulp) wash, drain and place in bowl and add salt to your desired taste, mix well and bake in a 350 degree oven till dried and easy to crack
