Why don't you get a really good referral to a top-notch beautician and let her cut your hair according to your face contour? You would probably love your new-do!

You can also look through books at the beauty salon and pick out something you really like.

Just remember, a lot of times, we don't like our hair after drastic changes, but give it time... usually the new style will grow on you!

Hmmm... have your stylist do some long layers, with some sweep bangs to accent your face. Add a few highlights, it will help to define the cut. Or there is a new technique called invisible layers, it really adds volume. Try picking out some hairstyle pictures that you really like and then take them with you to the salon and ask the stylists for their opinion on what will look best on you and work with your hair type. Good luck!

just wondering but why did you tell us that you are overweight? it has nothing to do with the question but whatever.
It depends on how short or long your hair is now. b/c it seems like you dont wanna get too much off so maybe a trim to make it look healty.
If your looking for a new hairstyle then try looking in magazines. you dont even have to buy them just flip thro them at a store.
But whats hot today are sidebangs so you might wanna check into that!
good luck!
hope everything looks great! &hearts:

Overweight myself and I have found that a layered cut with soft layers around your face works well. Just play with a few over a few months to see what YOU like!

you should get layers ...it looks good on every one ..curli or straight or wavy and it looks sophisticated but u can wear it mani ways ....maybe some side bangs would be cute....wen seeing a stylist make sure they talk to you and understand what you want and dont be afraid to tell them exactli and be specific...trust me you dont want someone to do whatever with your hair......have fun cutie
