1 John 5:19 The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one

Who is the wicked one?
Satan

Rev. 12:7-10
and war broke out in heaven Michael and his angels batted with the dragon and the dragon and its angels battled but it did not prevail neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven so down the great dragon was hurled the original serpent the one called Devil and Satan who is misleading the entire inhabited earth he was hurled down to the earth and his angels were huled down with him

Rev. 12:12
On this account be glad you heavens and you who reside in them Woe for the earth and for the sea because the Devil has come down to you having a great anger knowing he has a short period of time

so Satan is in control of the World and he is down hear knowing that he has a short time left. He is going to try and get as many people as he can. that is why there is so much suffering. God will soon put a stop to this and then and only then will there be no more suffering

Hope this helps

God does love everyone AND He does let people suffer. It's extremely hard for humans to accept that because we don't and can't truly understand the mind of God. He gave us humans free will, which was used by Adam and Eve to give sin entry into the world. Because we live in a fallen world, injustice and disease are part of the picture. These create suffering, certainly.

Many humans erroneously imagine love to mean having things as they want them. (If you really loved me, you'd do what I want.) We can't put that misconception of love onto God. It just doesn't fit.

Please feel free to email me if you have specific questions about this -- or if you have a suffering person you'd like me to pray for.

God does love Everybody. But he also gives us free will and what we do with that is up to us. Soon the suffering will be over for good. Read Psalms 37:9,10,11
The wicked will be destroyed and the righteous will live forever on the earth. Psalms 37:29

The Christians will say "well god must have his reasons and its not our place to question them" and also "but you know God will never let you suffer through something that he knows you cant handle."

I say the suffering will continue on, as it has for 2000 years because its is man's desire for the world to follow Jesus. They follow their instructions religiously (pun intended) "thy will be done on earth as it in heaven", which means they have to preach. But there are still many many "heathens" in this world to be converted.

I think the Rapture wont happen until "every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that jesus christ is Lord"

But then I also think for the same reason the rapture will never happen because there will ALWAYS be someone somewhere in this world who is still a heathen.

If God interferred with every sick person or dying person how would we live normal lives?

First God allows us to live our lives in natural progression. Which means, we are born, we get sick, we grow old, and we die! If he kept us from getting sick or dying then how many people would populate the Earth?

Just because you become Christian or God enters your life does not mean you are free from natural progression of life! You are still human, you still will get sick, you will still grow old and you will still die! It's called life!

The Bible says that It reigns on the just and the unjust!

In God's eyes, he sees illness and dying as your exit of Earth and entry into paradise(if you are christian). So what God sees and man sees in dying is totally different!

The bible also says to cry when someone is born...because it is such a wicked world...and rejoice when they die...because they go to a better place!

In my opinion freewill has nothing to do with this particular question...yes God gives us freewill...but I think the original poster meant suffering in the terms of sickness and dying! Thus how is it freewill to be sick or to die? We don't use our freewill when we get cancer or have a stroke or heartattack...it's a natural cause of living.

We all suffer, we all get sick, we all will taste death and we all will be judged! God has no respect of persons!

Who is this lower case god of your that lets people suffer?

God, upper case G, does not cause any of us to suffer in this life. Read your Bible. The real truth lies therein. You will find out that if you will accept God's Son Jesus Christ, and repent, allowing the Blood of His Sacrifice to wash away your sins, then you will start to see with open eyes that are not blinded by the untruths that Satan spat's out of his mouth.><>

Because we are learning and he can fix everything too. Adam made a terrible mistake. It cost all of us dearly and yet if we learn from the effects of his mistakes, maybe, once we reach perfection again, we will not make the same mistake he did. There will be no further ransom paid if we do, so we had better learn now.

God gave us free will. He does not like to see us suffer, but He will not interfere in our free will. People make us suffer, not God.

Satan the Devil is to blame for every human suffering which has ever occurred.

The Scriptures teach that God currently tolerates Satan's evil system of things. Satan torments and even kills by means of Adamic sin, debauched conditions in Satan's world, and personally or by demons.

(Job 1:12-19) Jehovah said to Satan: "Look! Everything that [Job] has is in your hand. Only against him himself do not thrust out your hand!" So Satan went out away from the person of Jehovah. 13 Now it came to be the day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in the house of their brother the firstborn. ...18 [A servant of Job] came and proceeded to say: "Your sons and your daughters were eating and drinking wine in the house of their brother the firstborn. 19 And, look! there came a great wind from the region of the wilderness, and it went striking the four corners of the house, so that it fell upon the young people and they died.

The Scriptures teach that Satan is inclined to kill humans, and prevent the salvation of individuals.

(John 8:44) You are from YOUR father the Devil, and you wish to do the desires of your father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him.

(1 Peter 5:8) Your adversary, the Devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour someone.

If Adam and Eve had never sinned, the Scriptures teach that they never would have died. When Satan targeted Eve and Adam to become sinners, Satan knew that mankind would NOT continue to have everlasting life. Thus Satan is really to blame for every human death that has ever occured.

(Genesis 2:16,17) Jehovah God also laid this command upon the man: "From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die."

(Genesis 3:1) Now the serpent... began to say to the woman: "Is it really so that God said you must not eat from every tree of the garden?"

(Romans 5:12) Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin

Jehovah is eager to undue everything that the Devil has done, and Jehovah has assigned Jesus Christ to perform this restoration. It will be accomplished soon.

(1 John 3:8) The Devil has been sinning from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was made manifest, namely, to break up the works of the Devil.

(1 Corinthians 15:21) For since death is through a man, resurrection of the dead is also through a man.

Those who do not believe that the earth will be restored to Edenic paradise conditions seem too-quick to believe that a lowly creature (such as Satan) could actually CHANGE the divine purposes of Almighty Jehovah God. Jehovah put mankind in paradise earth, and Jehovah will make sure that mankind lives forever in paradise earth, despite a delay which will shorter and shorter as human lifetimes extend toward infinity.

(Isaiah 65:17-25) For here I am creating new heavens and a new EARTH; and the former things will not be called to mind, neither will they come up into the heart. ...21 And they will certainly build houses and have occupancy; and they will certainly plant vineyards and eat their fruitage. 22 They will not build and someone else have occupancy; they will not plant and someone else do the eating. For like the days of a tree will the days of my people be; and the work of their own hands my chosen ones will use to the full. ...25 The wolf and the lamb themselves will feed as one, and the lion will eat straw just like the bull [caps added]

(Revelation 21:1-4) And I saw a new heaven and a new EARTH; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. ...Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. [caps added]

(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]
(Psalms 37:11) 'the meek will possess the earth'
(Proverbs 2:21) 'upright will reside in the earth'
(Isaiah 45:18) 'God formed the earth to be inhabited'
(Matthew 5:5) 'the mild will inherit the earth'
