Eating junk food is not the right path for gaining weight. You will just gain unhealthy fat from sugar and bad carbs. Heres an example

breakfast: A whole grain, oatmeal kind of cereal. They have high calorie content then regular sugary cereals but there good calories from the grain. Smart Start is flavorful or frosted shredded wheats. Especially the new strawberry kind. Using 2% milk is best since it has more fat and protein in it.

Lunch: if your eating a sandwich put an extra peice of chesse or a glob more of maynayes or more turkey, ham or what ever you eat.

Dinner: Vegtables are very important. Eating them is one of the best things you can do. But you want to gain weight. so? vegtables have calories. Load up on string beans, corn, and i love to drown mine with gravy to make it taste better.

Getting calories from drinks can be a good thing to. But im not saying drink 3 glasses of Coke in a row. Drink Orange juice with your breakfast. That can add 120 calories. And at dinner drink apple juice instead of soda. Your body will respond better to it

Oh and what sicko wants to gain weight! I would dieee to have a fast metabolism!! But you never know. Your only 13. Your body may still look likes it belongs to an eight year old but you still have development time. Also some people at a young age who are skinny become m,uch larger as they get older then other people because they do have a fast metabolism like most little kids but slow down as they hit puberty and since they are use to eating alot daily, they tend to eat the same way as they did before the hit it . So dont worry about it. In the next year or two you may see more fat in more places like in your chest, thighs and hips. Which is normal. Just eat healthy and if any one calls you a skinny twigg flip them off =]

Well, junk food isn't the way to gain. If you want to gain healthy weight, eat more starches and carbs like potatoes and breads. Don't leave out veggies and meats of course, but eating sweets and sugar can really be very unhealthy and the weight you gain won't be healthy weight. You can try drinking "Ensure" too. That worked for a friend of mine.

Eat a well-rounded diet. Stay away from sweets and sugar. You will pay for it later and it'll be hard to break the habit of eating crap like that. Eat more potatoes, sweet potatoes/yams, pasta, guacamole, peanut butter, mixed nuts, whole grain bread. If you can afford it try Muscle Milk. It has alot of fat calories for energy. These are higher calorie healthy foods. Use extra-virgin olive oil generously if you cook or just add it to leftovers and it'll add good calories.

And eat your vegetables Missy!!

Try to eat a balanced diet, don't just focus on high-calorie foods. Take a look at the food pyramid and aim to be within those ranges.
