Does the word 'schnicka' (sp?) mean anything in any language?

I thought it meant snake? But what language?

You may be referring to "Schnecke" which is "snail" in German. It is also a slang word used mostly in and around Berlin and means something like when we say "whatchamacallit" in American English.
