Ok talk about awkward! Your brother will probably feel weird, your friend will be upset and either pretend she's not, or not talk to you. I guess you gotta look at who you would rather lose. Does your friend mean more to you than a boyfriend? (which probably will *** and go anyway) There are plenty of other boys out there. I wouldn't do it if I was you. If you have been friends with this girl for two years then that seems like a pretty strong friendship. Don't blow that all away. But don't just blow it over. I'd talk to your friend and say that this guy likes you. Don't say do you mind if i go out with him, coz my friend asked me that once and I had to say no. And I felt pretty upset, and pretended it didn't affect me much. Just talk to her and say you aren't sure what you should do about it, without saying that you actually like him. If she says go out with him or encourages you to say yes then do so, but if not DON'T GO OUT WITH HIM!!!!!!!!!!! It will ruin your friendship, and she'll be bitchin bout you.

I would talk to your friend Camrie first. If she's really your friend then you should be able to be open about your feelings. If she tells you she'd be really upset if you ended up dating him (providing he fesses up to you that he really likes you), then you have a choice to make: it's either your friendship or the guy. On the other hand, if she knows he likes you and not her (he has to verify this himself - don't rely on hear-say) and she's okay with that, then go for it!

I'm not one to know the whole "girl rules", but I do know this, you never turn your back on a friend. Be honest with your friend, and with your self, always. It'll make things better in the long run, trust me. Your friend will like it that you were honest with her. When you two talk, you'll find your solution. What else are friends for?

ok thats a tough one to crack but i guess you should just tell your friend that you like him maybe she'll understand your situation and let you have him....idk cuz ive never been in a situation like that but i would tell her......and btw if he likes you too you should at least try to tell him, or if your too shy for that you should tell your brother to maybe talk to him for ya, of course that does depend on how your brother is.. : )........you just might wind up with him in the long run.
anyways good luck w/ that!!

Wow I actually followed that. Now follow this.
I would say hint around for him to ask you out. It's not your fault he likes you and not your friend. No matter how this works out, there will be drama. If he likes you and you like him, but do nothing b/c of your friend, you resent your friend. If he asks you out and you accept, she'll resent you. If he goes out with her, you'll resent both of them.
I would play this out in your best interest. It's not like you are gonna get married maybe it won't work out, and she'll get her chance.

You should probably first talk to your freind about it. If it is ok with her, then go for it! but you have to be careful, because even though she says it is ok it really might not be.
