Perhaps because I am 40, if I saw someone and was attracted to her and she was single, I would want to get to know her.

There are more single women out there that are above 40 than ever before. It's isn't old and as long as you feel positive and vibrant, it shouldn't matter what people, who have their traditional opinions, have to say.

For some, it is a choice. For others, jus that they have not found "Mr Right" yet. It's not a bad thing. What about guys over 40 who are still single and living with their parents? Now THAT'S a subject.

Some because of bad lack. Others a life choice. Regardless if they are happy, single and over 40 who the hell am I to judge their life choices.

my opinion is that a woman over 40 and still single, obviously she never met a decent man, or either a man has treated her wrong and she has put up so many walls that she is in life to only appreciate herself since there is no man worthy

They probably have been hut by men and don't trust them. Sometimes I feel like giving up on men. You don't have to have a man a man is just a bonus not a necessity.

good luck to them!
they probably have more money than someone who is married with kids,probably have less emotional hangups,more freedom with their career etc
why should age matter anyways?
