I live in Mississippi. I worked at a fast food restaurant for about 6 months last year(2006). I was 16 when I started and turned 17 in September. I started when they opened in May and quit in November. I started at minimum wage and got a raise $.60 after 3 months and ended with that pay. On all of my paychecks they took out Federal Witholding, Social Security Employee, Medicare Employee, and MS-Witholding. Also I need to know any forms that they are supposed to be giving me. Thanks.

you will be getting a W2 form from each employer. The W2 form shows how much money you earned and how much you paid in federal taxes. Another copy in the same form will show how much you earned and how much you paid in state taxes. With such a low rate of pay, you will probably be getting all of your federal withholdings back as well as most of your state withholdings. You must file seperate returns with the federal government and state government, on these returns you will affix the corresponding copy of your W2. You can use the 1040EZ forms to file your taxes, these are very simple to fill out with very easy to follow instructions. Good Luck and welcome to the working world!

All you need is the 1040-EZ federal and your state form. You should be able to get all or most of your federal and state that you paid in. You dont get back social security and medicare. i am assuming your parents will be claiming you so make sure you check that on your return.

Probably just a 1040EZ tax form, and the Mississippi state tax form, and your city form. You'll probably get a return, but it won't be very big because your parents can claim you.
