Many guys claim that women only like a**holes who will be cruel and abusive to them and are not attracted to good men who will be good to them. Is this true?
Do women prefer to date men who abuse them and cheat on them?

I'm not gonna lie to you. It seems like that because it's true. I know a family where the mother always got abused by her men and cheated on and so do her two daughters and when they get with the good guys they always tend to run them away then they keep the crazy abusive ones. I think its more than anything its just what you feel like you deserve. A lot of women don't feel that they deserve a good man. They think that their ugly, fat, or they feel bad for having kids out of wedlock but honestly everyone has a flaw and no one is perfect and ugly men are usually the biggest players. They have to learn to love themselves and sometimes the only way they feel loved is to have a man by their side even if they know he is cheating and abusing them.

I think it's because women like the bad boy types and that usually means they will be treated badly. But most women think they can change him to be a good boy. Not going to happen ladies. If all the women would only date nice boys the court system would be freed up to handle real crime cases instead of abusive case against women. Just a note, there are women out there that are bad girls and they beat up on men. It's our world today.

A lot of women do this, but I'm not one of them. I have a very good man that isn't abusive at all. He's the farthest from it. I think it mostly has to do with how a woman's self esteem is. If she has good self esteem she won't put up with any crap. So, these abusive men look for low self esteem women so they can treat them like garbage & it's sad but these are usually the nicest of all women to be with~

I think some women are attracted to bada$$es. But abusive men, no... At least I would hope not. Sometimes the guy isn't abusive in the beginning but shows his true colors later on and maybe she is too afraid or too controlled by him to leave.
I have dated an abusive guy and I was very happy to finally break free of him. Then I found Mr. Right and he ended up being my husband.....

Are you kidding me?! No girl in her right mind would want an abusive guy! ... Okay, so I admit, there are a lot of girls who are so desperate for whatever love they can get that they don't care what their man does to them... Personally, I go for the decent men. I have MANY friends who also only go for decent guys. If a guy acts like a jerk, the thought of being with him never crosses my mind! A girl needs respect!

Women that are normal and healthy do not like abusive men. If you fell like you need to begin to act that way to get a woman it really not worth it. It is much better to be alone that to realize that the special woman in you life is there because you are acting.

The way I see it, is that those type of @ss hole men are that way to the women who have low self esteem, they can "rule" and manipulate them. And, the women who have low self esteems, usually end up with those jerks because they don't feel worthy of a good man who could treat them right. Round and round it goes.

It's not that some women PREFER to get the crap beat out 'em or be verbally abused, but they fall into a bad relationship--it happens. It's NOT REPEATING that same bad relationship after the first experience is where some mess up

No, they DO want nice men but not pushovers. not really soft people. No, they want a one woman man. No, they try but some men just act nice untill they get what they want then they leave her. So women are trying to find Mr. Right not Mr. Always Right. And a guy who will care about them not cheat on them.

What women are you talking to? I have never met a woman who preferred to getting their face bashed in over a banquet of flowers. Men do not show their true colors at first, and unfortunately, the woman finds out too late. Women like very nice man!! So, venture out a little and ask more women this question...I bet your answers will change!!!
