Total and utter chaos would ensue. Instead of 100 people dying a day, 1000 would. The civil war would rocket out of control. The terrorists would take charge and overthrow the government. Iraq would be a crueler place to live in than in the reign of Saddam.

I'm as big a liberal as they come, and I still believe that if everyone pulled out there would be another dictator in power within a year. The Iraqis can't do it all right now. It really sucks that Americans and others are in harms way right now because of this, but at least there's a violent dictator out of power, and if they all leave another will rise up.

You would have the most illiterate of the religious zealots, clerics vying for leadership and power for their particular sect. or cast. It would be all out End Times! Just like in the Bible! They would all turns their swords on each other on their brothers in their crazed zeal! There is nothing like fanaticism to cause brainless zombie like devastation!! Have you ever watched the Ecstasy of Eastern religious ceremonies? Bodies impaled and thrashing self with barbs and chains, placing weight on bodies hanging from hooks, shafts through eyelids, tongues and lolling around smiling in a frenzied devotional orgy of pain!! That is the Middle Eastern Brain on Love! What do you suppose they do in Hate???Thoughtless, mindless, blind following of the masses! Like lemmings into the sea! All of them chanting "Kill American Devils" That's what will happen.

Massive secterian violence. Sadir trying to rule the country. Al Quada trying to rule the country. Iran and Syria taking sides. Sunnis would probably suffer huges losses and become quite poor.

The final result would probably be a conservative Islamic society much like Iran.

The terrorists will have declared victory and their terrorist cells will be spread world wide making it almost impossible to contain. The weaker countries would be overtaken and the rest of the nations who already support them will unite declaring massive war on those that don't.

Who cares? My husband and his fellow soldiers would be home and could work on taking care of our country...not someone elses. They are going to fight eachother no matter what...why should US and coalition forces die in the crossfire.
Oh yeah...and Bush and his cronies should be held accountable for this huge CLUSTERF@&%!!

They would be taken over by Iranian sympathetic Shiite clerics.
The Kurds might declare their own state, be joined by Turkish Kurds and cause a civil war in Turkey.
The new Iraqi regrime would have terrorist training camps all over & would be sending them over to bomb us in short order.

Probably the worst of all possible outcomes - the past tactics of the indiscriminate murder and terror of innocent men, women and children would result in success for the Islamic radicals - and the terrorists would be victorious.
And no one changes their tactics if they're successful.
