i want the actual pink part of my lip pierced...and i HATE needles...is it really that bad?? :)

No, if you have ever bitten your lip, piercing doesn't hurt as much.

lip piercing doesn't hurt that much.
it hurts for few seconds/a minute.
it is a freaky purecedure...
this is how they do it:
1) they put this special alcohol stuff on the spot youre getting pierced
2)pinpoint the exact place
3)stick the long needle (double sided point)
4)let the needle stay for 3sec
5)get the whole needle through your lips
6)RIGHT AFTER they take the needle out, they put in the jewelery.

i've never been a big fan of needles but i've got five tattoos and 16 peircings all together. just depends on your pain threshold. do some researching in your area before you get it done. some places will explain the procedure better and take the time to let you get over the 'needle' effect. good luck!
