Most colleges require you to to enrolled at least half-time to receive financial aid. That usually means 2 to 4 courses.

The amount of credits you are taking and your enrollment status (full-time or part-time)determines the amount of financial aid you are eligible to receive. For most aid (grants, loans and work-study) at minimum an undergraduate student is required to be enrolled part-time and taking 6 credits during the Fall and Spring semesters, or 3 credits during the summer. You should also know that you are required to complete a given amount of credits so that your financial aid status does not change for the worse.
To answer your question, unless the class you are taking is 6 credits I highly doubt that you will get any financial aid.
Hope this helped.

No, I believe you have to take at least 2 classes to be considered part time for financial aid.

Yes, originally I was signed up for 4 courses which added up to 12 units, full-time. I dropped all but one class which was 3 units, I still got my check in the mail and it was still alot but not as much as a full-time student will get.

I don't believe that meets the minimum load requirements,
but our beliefs are NOT relevant . . .
Ask your financial aid office .
