"I Whistle A Happy Tune" from The King and I (upbeat for a mezzo with a limited range, good for an audition for a more classical musical)
"Doatsy Mae" from The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (semi-dramatic, good for mezzo with limited range)
"I Love a Cop" from Fiorello! (comedic song for an alto with a limited range)
This is all I found specifically for a limited range. Break a leg!

Very good question. Hello Questioner, My Advice to you is for you to use anything that has low range like a rock song or if you really need a low alto song consider "Impossible dream" sang in Man of La Mancha by Brian Strokes Mitchell. The rest is up to you... good luck in the audition. aight. LATEZ

What show are you auditioning for and what part? That would help in picking the song.
Hold On from The Secret Garden is a good song for a medium low voice.

The previously mentioned Summer In Ohio is a good one but you have to be abe to belt.
If You Hadn't But You Did is another good one and you can get away with singing it.
DON'T do things from popular shows like Les Mis, POTO, RENT, and Wicked (most auditioners would rather chew their arm off than sit through another rendition of Popular).
