Well there is no doubt that Hitler was insane, but in my opinion I think Himmler was the greatest evil in Nazi Germany. Yes it was done with Hitlers approval, but Himmler did all the work. This does not make Hitler less reponsible than Himmler, this is not what im saying, but Himmler ran the camps, the SS, the Waffen SS, the Gestapo, the SD, all policeing agencys, prisons and camps. I think Himmler reasonings were of less hatred than of power. Yes Himmler hated the Jews also, but I think his reasons were more on the level of power than hatred. This in my mind, makes him the greater evil.

What do you people think?

Good points.

In my mind Hitler is still the bigger evil for one very basic reason. Without him, all of the Nazi's would have amounted to nothing more than thugs. Without Hitler, these misfits would not have been organized into a coherent structure that was able to gain control of a country.

Wow...an actual intelligent question here...I'm shocked!

the house of Rothchilds ,they commanded both of them.seems as if you know nothing about the power behind the doings of the Nazis who were after a master race and a New World order, and the same power is continuing the same Agenda in the USa .the goal is still the new(very old)world order, which was brought up again by Pappa Bush and his Son is continuing the same Agenda

the seat is in the Black castle in Luxemberg ,always has been
Hitler was an iligitimate child of Rothchilds(suposedly jewish),and genetically conected to Charlemagne of France and Charles the great, all illuminati pions are.

both Hitler and Himmler, had been programmed by the illuminati and the strategy was theirs
there was no emotion such as hate involved in wiping out the jews,it was calculated to obtain wealth and power as well as slaves

Himmler was more than a few bubbles off plumb himself. And the ultimate responsibility lies with Hitler. The greater evil is always the person in charge who pushes some thing like this. So Hitler was the greater evil.

Based on your definition then, Reinhard Heydrich had more blood than Himmler, he was the architect and implementer of the Final Solution...at least up until his assassination. After him was Adolf Eichman (Eichmann diverted trains filled with war material bound to the Eastern Front, to be used to transport Hungarian Jews to the Death Camps during the waning months of the war).

It was Heydrich, not Himmler, who organized the Wansee Conference in Jan. 1942 with all the top Nazis and government officials to plan the high volume extermination of European Jewry.

Himmler was the executioner and Hitler was the dictator. Both of them were responsible for the mass killings.

I believe its equal just as its the same as whether an officer gave an order to shoot a Jew or the soldier who did the actual deed.
