believe in God and live a quiet life the more stones get thrown at you? How many tests of faith are we going to go through? When is enough enough? Maybe it's better to be an athiest and live carefree without all the worry and depression. And don't tell me to keep praying i've had enough. And to think of all the parties and drugs and sex i am missing out on! I give up!!! It doesn't feel as if God is real. What else can I do????? I've worked hard, I do not feel well, I pay bills, student loans haunting me and they won't work withme, no life, no friends. Thanks a lot God for the wonderful life!

God gave us all a free will. It's not God that kept you from partying, or doing drugs, or being promiscuous. It was your own common sense and good judgment. Paying bills ,working hard, a burden we all have in common isn't something to be down about. It's something to be proud of.
Good things come to those that wait, believe it and it will happen.
Don't think you have friends? Your looking in the wrong place , keep the faith, you have one here.

if you're going by the name marinated, i doubt you've abstained from partying. either way....
why would you assume that atheists live carefree lives with out worry and depression? this troubles me. atheists have the same ups and downs everyone else has, they don't get to not pay their student loand just because they don't believe in god. not all of them party, have sex and do drugs, either.
every obstacle is a lesson. when you move past that obstacle, you've learned the required lesson and another one presents itself. this is called "life." why would you assume that god should take care of your problems for you? your "stones" are more important than starving eithiopians? Really? i would think god would want us to live with the choices we've been handed, i.e. free will. things are rough sometimes.
you might want to step back and look at what you do have. there is always something, always a glimmer of possibility. always unless you refuse to see it, refuse to acknowledge it. be a spiritual warrior and learn to depend on yourself for things you are lacking.
if god doesn't feel real, maybe your spiritual path needs a boost. go out to the woods and listen to the still, small voice inside. have a good cry, get it out. then really see what is out there, take a good look around and let it all in.
try imagining good things happening to you. start with realistic things. do this whenever you feel really down.
most of all, don't give up and turn to things that only make you feel good for a short time, there's always a come down after that leaves you worse than where you started.

Yeah, isn't it fun when someone else's ideas are running your life? You're living under the dogmatic charge of religion. I'm not religious, was a Christian for the majority of my life, but I'm not an athiest either. When I lived the Christian life, I was living in fear and that's exactly what they teach you. When certain situations arose in my life, it gave me the opportunity to open my eyes and see the truths that lie inside myself. That's when I ditched religion and went on my own, learning how energy works, how the universe operates, and who God really is. I've never been happier and my life has never been easier. If you seriously feel like religion has gotten you no where, then you know in your heart that you need to let it all go. What's right for someone else may not be right for you. Find what's right in your heart and you'll find all the answers.

What you need is to be born again. To confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you can be saved.
If you are thinking "of all the parties and drugs and sex i am missing out on" you really do not have a heart for God. When God saves you those desires leave and you have a whole new perspective on life. Try the real thing, Jesus Christ, before you throw out the phoney.

You don't have to believe in some god to be a good person. You think delusional people are the only people who don't do drugs, don't get drunk, don't have sex with anything that moves? What planet are you from, certainly not the Earth I live on. You think Atheists don't have worries and problems. What you are missing out on is the freedom to explore the reality of what it means to be Human and deal with the world in a rational manner instead of through the prism of superstitional belief. Grow up.

You think all your problems would go away if you didn't believe? No way; they'd still be there, but a hundred times worse, because you'd have no hope.
God doesn't send suffering, but he helps you get through it.
You aren't missing much by missing parties and drugs and sex. Parties and drugs get boring without real friendship, and you can have that without them. Sex without love, commitment, and fidelity is empty and destructive, not enjoyable. Virtue is so much more enjoyable -- really enjoyable -- than vice.
You'll make it through. Trust me, I've been through the worst of times, and my faith was always what got me through.

First Satan is in control of this world now. So if you are going to put the blame on any one then try to lay it on whom it belongs.
I am very happy in my life. I follow Gods word and yes some times things get hard but every ones life does. We are all imperfect. What do you honestly think that Atheist life's have no stress, that they don't go to school ,or work all the time?

Its not God, its the lies that religion tell about God that are causing the problems.
God doesn't care if you have fun and get a life.
Religion makes up these lies about God to control people and to get then to conform to religions narrow view of morality.
God is not asking you to forgo you happiness, religion is the problem you are having.
As for the student loans you can thank the outgoing republican congress for letting the banking industry ratchet up the interest rates to put the squeeze on everyone. You're not the only one this is happening to.
love and blessings Don

Yeah sometimes I think it would be easier to just give up and do whatever. But I know deep down in my heart that I just know too much, and that all along I would only be pretending - I just couldn't do it.
Life is really hard, and it's hard for most people no matter what their beliefs - there's really no escape from that. But since you are someone that does have some faith I'll remind you to keep in mind that God never promised it would easy, He only promised it would be worth it.
best wishes

ah....let's put the blame where it belongs.
how is your relationship with Jesus Christ?
have you been born again?
believing in God is a cop-out.
It is Jesus you need to believe in.
you will be surprised how it will change your life
and your opinion of things.
read what God says:
John 3: The Words of Jesus Christ (God in the flesh)
3. "Verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."
4. Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"
5. Jesus answered, "Verily, werily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God."
6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
16. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17. For God sent not His Son into the worls to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18. He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in thename of the only begotten Son of God."
