Its not about the chocolates being fattening or the flowers dieing, it the sweet jester of getting them.
How sweet and thoughtful for a guy to bring flowers and chocolates. Its just such a sweet jester.
There are two things a woman "never" out grows....getting chocolates and flowers and stuffed animals. TRUST ME ON THIS !

In my opinion i think that chocolates are good because it might be that time of the month for that woman and usually woman crave these things when it's there time of the month and for the flowers it's just the fact that they look very pretty and that for both the flowers and chocolates they think that it's just the fact of getting them from a guy because they want to get it for themselves but they might think that that will look really stupid

Chocolate makes who fat? Send in the chocolate! Actually, I think we just like to know you're thinking of us, and if you do little, inexpensive things, like sending chocolate or flowers or any token gift, it's going to win you big brownie points in the long run.

It's the thought that counts. I personally think giving me chocolate means you think I'm fat, but flowers show you love me so much you went to a flower shop!

chocolates and flowers are the standard symbols that a guy likes a girl. it makes a girl HAPPY to get chocolates and flowers, not because of the gifts themselves btu because of what they stand for. it makes a girl feel good and increases a guys chances with her

I think that is something that people got off movies. I can't stand chocolate and flowers are pretty but they stink and are not worth the money.
