Hi, I recently came across a keyboard I had purchased earlier this year for a holiday gift. Unfortunately, what I didn't know was that there were batteries in it. When I opened it, I saw corrosion on only one battery connection, the others look good.

I replaced the batteries, cleaned it and it won't work. Any one know of how to clean the corrosion from the connection? Thanks!

Denatured alcohol is probably best.

If you want to try, battery cleaner from your local auto-parts store. Spray a litle bit on a clean flat surface (it's slightly acidic so don't srpay on stuff that'll discolor!

Use cotton swab to swab a little, and use that to rub the corroded section. You'll use a lot of swabs, but swabs are cheap.
