One felony can be waived depending on all the particulars. Rape and Murder... nope.
Anything else will depend on your age, and ALL the circumstances of the incident. The Air Force typically does not waive felons. The other services do.
You need to see a recruiter and he'll need to see ALL the paperwork on it. Your WHOLE police record, and all the dockets for all court appearances, then he'll bounce that against the procurement manual and let you know what he can do. Your whole person will help decide if you make it or not. Boy Scouts, HS sports, community invovlement all help to sway in your favor. If you appear to be a kid who made one mistake you'll probably be good.
Two felonies= Done.

YES.
Depends on what it is, but a felony is pretty likely to keep you out.
If it is drug related, then you are absolutely going to be barred.
Two reasons for this.
1) A felony will keep you from getting a security clearance, and a solder without a security clearance isn't worth all that much.
2) People depend on each other in the military to an amzaing extent. Would you want someone who had used heroin packing your parachute?

If your prior record includes a felony that occured while you were a juvenile, it may, in fact, make you ineligible. However, if the felony didnt' involve a weapon or drugs, and you pass the psych eval, it may still be possible to get in.
If your priors are all misdemeanors and it's been a substantial amount of time (1 year or more since your last offense) then you're probably okay.

NO it can't. It all really depends on how slick your recruiter is.
I knew a guy who had been in the Navy for three years who was actually on the lam as a felon. He was the only guy who could fix a certain peice of gear (or at least had the qual's) so they kept him onboard and did what they had to to get rid of his warrant or what not.

Yes, it depends on the severity of the crime or what the crime related to. It will reflect whether you can be trusted to not give away your countries secrets for money for example (among other things)

Yes. It's possible to be allowed in depending on the specifics of the case, but generally you wont be allowed in. I guess they're afraid you wont be rehabilitated enough to go around and kill people, huh.

depends what it is,
there is a waiver for almost anything, as long as you didn't kill anyone you may have a chance, just be honest with the recruiter and he will help you..
